Math Competitions
AMC
The American Mathematics Contest is a nationwide tournament, with levels including AMC 12 for seniors and below, AMC 10 for sophomores and below, and AMC 8 for middle school. The exams are 25 question, 75 minute exams which can be completed with only pre-calculus knowledge. Contestants who pass move on to the AIME, the American Invitational Mathematics Examination.

Mu Alpha Theta Log 1 Contest (2012-2013)
A Mu Alpha Theta sponsored math contest, the Log 1 Competition is a multiple round tournament held at the home school. There are three 15 question, 30 minute rounds, completed without a calculator.
Round 1: Logs/Exponents or Matrices
Round 2: Sequences or Geometry
Round 3: Individual
Monetary Prizes include $100e to top ten schools in the region.

Rocket City Math League (2012-2013)
Sponsored by Mu Alpha Theta, Rocket City Math Contest is a 30 minute 15 question team test. Schools compete in different divisions depending on contestant's math levels. Individual rounds are also part of the contest, with three 45 minute sections happening over the year.

Mathematical Minutes Contest (2012-2013)
Another Mu Alpha Theta sponsored contest, The Mathematical Minutes Video requires competitors to submit a five minute video on a certain math topic, with submissions due on Jan 31.
Monetary Prizes are given for each place.
